The Bobby Bones Show brought up some doctor updates, beginning with Lunchbox sharing news about his long-awaited appointment.
Lunchbox was concerned he would never hear back from Dr. Kellum after the big surprise in studio, but confirmed that the doctor’s office had reached out. A scheduler contacted him multiple times to ensure he secured an appointment as soon as possible, and now Lunchbox will be in the office this week! Dr. Kellum, who has worked with the Tennessee Titans, USA Olympic basketball team, and the Boston Celtics, had previously visited the show after Amy helped arrange the connection for Lunchbox. Lunchbox is excited about the upcoming appointment, saying it could be “the first day of the rest of my life.” He hoped to regain his ability to run and return to normal daily activities, which he said had been difficult due to his condition for the past year.
The conversation then turned to another potential doctor update involving Amy. She had reached out to her gynecologist, who manages her hormone therapy, to see if the doctor could come on the show to help Eddie with his low testosterone. Eddie immediately dismissed the idea, questioning the relevance of bringing in a gynecologist for himself. Amy explained that the doctor specializes in hormones and has a background in pharmaceuticals, emphasizing that her approach aligns with Dr. Kellum’s focus on improving health through diet and exercise rather than immediate medical intervention. Amy said the request had been submitted and was under review, though she acknowledged uncertainty about whether the doctor would participate or if it would be appropriate given her practice.
