Karl Pietrzak brings over 30 years of experience in the tourism & hospitality industry to his role as President & CEO of Destination Gettysburg. He previously spent 16 years with VisitPITTSBURGH, primarily as Vice President of Convention Sales, leading the city’s efforts to attract meetings and conventions to Pittsburgh. Previously, Karl worked in convention sales roles with Hilton and Westin hotel properties in Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.
Karl is a native of Gettysburg, PA, and is proud to lead the tourism promotion efforts in his historic hometown. Karl and his wife Michele have two sons, Adam, and Luke.
