Alana Springsteen may be a country music artist, but she may not want to sing you a country song. The singer has released “You Don’t Deserve A Country Song”, which she says was inspired by the end of her last relationship.
“I wrote this song around the time I remember finally being in a good place after my last relationship ended,” Springsteen tells "CMT". She isn’t looking to make a song about heartbreak, but a song celebrating the “moments along the way,” she says.
The singer released a video along with the track, which she hopes will remind fans that they can always reclaim their confidence and focus on the good parts of their lives. The singer says it important, as her fans are what “carried [her] through one of the hardest times in [her] life”.
