See One of The Last Photos of Betty White

Betty White's assistant shared a photo of the beloved actress to honor her one last time on White's official Facebook Page Monday.

Her assistant says Betty was "as radiant" and "as happy as ever." She thanked everyone who decided to do "kind things" yesterday in honor of what would have been Betty's 100th birthday. The kind things she was most likely referencing was the Betty White social media challenge which asked fans of Betty’s to donate $5 to their favorite animal shelter in Betty’s honor—the challenge was trending yesterday on social media.

Trisha Yearwood was one of the thousands who participated in the challenge. The country star went on TalkShopLive to contribute, and during the 15-minute webcast, Trisha raised more than $24,000 for an animal charity called Dottie's Yard. TMZ says she's also donating $10,000 of her own money.

Additionally, local shelters all over the country saw a bump in donations. For instance, the Oregon Humane Society’s version of the challenge surpassed its original $5-thousand goal, a shelter in Oak Park, Illinois collected more than $3-grand and a private organization in Maine raised one-thousand yesterday. And the Bangor Humane Society? $4-thousand.
