"Oh no."
That was the announcers response, and basically everyone else's, when the umpire threw out the entire Baltimore Orioles grounds crew during the game versus the New York Yankees last night.
So the big question is why? Well, we aren't really sure. Nothing obvious happened, and the grounds crew obliged once they figured out what was going on. The entire crew jogged off the field together leaving fans, players, coaches and announcers scratching their heads. Maybe they were a distraction? Maybe the umpire deemed them unnecessary? Who knows. But hey look, we're talking about the Orioles!
