Harford County Family Is Reunited With GoPro After Losing It On Vacation

The Morton family, from Harford County, took an amazing trip to Hawaii for a much needed vacation. They brought their GoPro along for the ride and took tons of pictures and video of their time. Unfortunately the camera slipped out of Lee Morton's pocket while they were snorkeling. He searched around but couldn't find it and the family figured their memories would be lost forever.

Thankfully Jerry McNamara, from Texas, wasn't far behind. He was at the snorkeling location four days later and saw the camera. He said it didn't work but there were clues on the video that helped him start his search for the owner.

Apparently on one of the videos Ellie Morton mentioned that the family was from Maryland. So that's how McNamara started. He was able to track down the Morton family and now the two families have a special bond.

As a thank you to Jerry, the Morton's sent him a huge shipment of crab cakes from Jimmy's Seafood. And GoPro even replaced their camera. A little kindness goes a long way.
