Hardy pulled off a pretty emotional moment on stage recently. The artist shared video on Instagram of him helping to reunite a soldier with his family after he was overseas for 400 days.
In the clip Hardy explains that soldier Richard Kelly’s family think they are there to be honored as a military family. He explains that they think they won a “VIP thing” to hang out backstage. But after Hardy performs “Give Heaven Some Hell” he brings the family out, allegedly to honor them, which is when Kelly walks out, and the very emotional reunion happens right on stage.
Several of Hardy’s fellow country stars couldn’t help but comment on the heartwarming video, with Dierks Bentley sharing “So awesome,” while Thomas Rhett added, “Man this is incredible.”
