First up, Garth Brooks.
Garth took to the inauguration stage yesterday as a statement of unity, performing "Amazing Grace" for the newly sworn in President & Vice President. Garth sang the classic a capella style and called for the crowd, "and the people at home, at work" to sing the last verse with him, "as one, united." Garth also hugged all former Presidents and First Ladies who were in attendance including the Obamas, the Clintons and the Bush's on his way out after his performance. Later on that evening as part of the Celebrating America inauguration TV special, Tim McGraw & Tyler Hubbard took to the stage from downtown Nashville to perform their latest duet, "Undivided." Tyler started their performance by thanking all of the healthcare workers who have been fighting on the front lines of this pandemic, and how he wrote the song as he was quarantining and recovering from the coronavirus on his tour bus.
