The famous Rockefeller Christmas tree came with a little friend this year!
A teeny, tiny owl was found in the Rockefeller Christmas tree in New York City by a man who was helping to install the tree. He & his wife contacted the Ravensbeard Wildlife Center to see if they took in owls, and they did. So our little owl friend, affectionately named Rockefeller, seems to be doing quite well now that he's at the wildlife reserve. The wildlife center says it had been 3 days since little Rockefeller had ate or drank anything, and they've been giving him fluids and all the mice he can eat. They plan to release him into the wild once he gets a clean bill of health from the vet!
The tiny owl all wrapped up in the blanket looks an awful lot like Laurie's littlest dog Tig! Take a look!
