Brad Paisley was the guest host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night, where he got to show off his comedic talents. Brad kicked things off with a song about Jimmy taking time off, singing “I don’t miss him, not one bit.”
Later in the monologue, he reworked some of his biggest hits for the coronavirus age, noting that “this is a tough time for everybody and it turns out a lot of people are turning to country music,” adding that it makes sense because every country song “is about loneliness or drunkenness and now everybody’s both of those things all the time.”
He then sang songs from “Brad Paisley’s Greatest Hits: The 2020 Edition,” including new takes on “Alcohol,” and “Letter To Me,” ending the bit with “Remind Me,” featuring a guest appearance by Carrie Underwood. When Brad thanked Carrie or stopping by she joked, “had to save the show,” and ended her appearance by adding “bring back Jimmy.”
The dynamic Hardy got the band together for his Late Show debut, performing "AIN'T A BAD DAY" from his debut album "A ROCK."
