Over the holiday weekend, Kanye West announced he was running for President in 2020. Whether he’s serious or not is anyone’s guess, but fans of Taylor Swift are having none of it.
As most know, Kanye and Taylor have been feuding since 2009 after he interrupted her MTV VMA speech, and then ignited again when he dropped “Famous” in 2016. Well, now Swifties think Taylor should take their battles to the political ring, calling on the Tay to run against Kanye.
"How about taylor swift as the president and selena gomez as vice president?" one fan wrote on Twitter, while another added, “Taylor Swift will defeat Kanye West and become the first female president of the United States.”
But this battle can’t actually happen in this election, especially since Taylor is only 30, and U.S. presidential candidates must be at least 35. Check out some of the calls for Taylor to run below!
