Miranda Lambert has some loyal fans, but it sounds like some of them find the wrong inspiration in her music.
In case you missed it, during her appearance at the Country Radio Seminar last week, Miranda recalled one of her wildest fan experiences, sharing that the fan came up to her and said, “I got off because he was beating me, but ‘Gunpowder and Lead’ saved my life.”
“I was like,what?” Miranda noted, explaining “she goes, ‘I shot him. I shot his a**.’” Miranda offered, “I was, like, ‘That’s a lot! It’s just a meet-and-greet! It wasn’t meant to be taken literally!’”
