Mitchell Tenpenny is joining the fight against cancer. His 10Penny Fund has teamed up with the Sarah Cannon Fund to help patients by using music as a source of strength and empowerment. The fund invests in sustainable and meaningful programs that motivate patients, encourage healing and build a community of support.
He says, “There are a lot of programs that are directly tied to research and aiming to find a cure for this illness, which are critical. In watching so many of my family members go through cancer, it became clear that there was also a significant need for resources that support you through the mental side of fighting cancer."
Mitchell's song "Walk Like Him" was inspired by his own father's cancer journey.
