Daniel Pink is a fascinating guy. I’ve interviewed him a few times over the years and now his new book is out. It’s called, “WHEN: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing.” He says that we spend a lot of time thinking about what we do but not enough time considering when we do what we do. He talks about what time of the day you’re the most creative. He also says that can change depending on whether you’re a “Lark” which is an early bird, an “Owl” which is someone who likes to stay up late or a “Third Bird” someone who falls in the middle. I generally feel most creative early in the day but I’m an owl who likes to stay up late so that’s kind of tricky and my husband finds that creative thoughts hit him in the middle of the night? What about you? To find out more about why when you do things is important listen in on my conversation with Dan!
