Cruise Line Cancels Vacations to Perform Massive Rescue Effort

How often do you hear about a company turning away profits to help people in need?

Royal Caribbean cruise line canceled its September 30 'Adventure of the Seas' trip for thousands of customers. Instead, they're going to use the ship to deliver supplies and help evacuate people from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The ship will bring emergency supplies like water, food, and medicine to Puerto Rico before rescuing over 2,000 stranded people, completely free of charge. Then the ship will head to the U.S. Virgin Islands and rescue more stranded people.

Let's get a round of applause for Royal Caribbean!
