This adorable photo will make even the coldest heart warm again!
18 years ago on Gabrielle's first day of kindergarten at Maple Elementary School, a photographer snapped this candid shot of her jumping into her mother, Lizzette's, arms.
Now, 18 years later, Gabrielle and Lizzette recreated the photo after her graduation from New Albany High School in Indiana.
"My mom had breast cancer 23 months ago, so there was a chance that she couldn't have been here for my graduation,'' Gabrielle told the Today Show. "That's what made this extra special. She's always been there for me."
"I love that picture,'' Gabrielle said. "At my (high school) graduation, I just wanted to have something that could tie together those two milestones of my life."
Time flies when your babies are growing up...
