Any child of the 90's knows about the Flying V and that 'Ducks Fly Together!' We all were hooked into Disney's Mighty Ducks film franchise. Those kids were inspiring to all of us. So inspiring that Disney ultimately decided to buy an NHL expansion team and name it after the scrappy team of misfits from Minnesota.
But not everyone was excited to see Disney entering into the NHL world. There was a lot of concern and push back from fans, and players, who thought Disney was making a joke of the league.
