A group of middle schoolers in Gaithersburg Maryland are being hailed as heroes after stopping an attempted kidnapping of one of their friends.
The victim told authorities that they were standing at the bus stop when a man allegedly grabbed the child and pulled them toward an apartment building. Police say several students who also were standing at the bus stop attempted to intervene and the victim was able to break free.
When the school bus arrived, all the students got on board and the incident was then called in. Through the investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect and he was arrested.
Good on those kids for stepping up and trying to help one of their own!
