The Haunted Mansion ride at Disney World has always been my favorite ride. I used to make my parents wait in obnoxiously long lines so I could ride it over and over again. I was so excited when Disney announced years ago that they would be giving us a movie based on the ride. Unfortunately what came out was less than pleasing. It's not like the Eddie Murphy film was "bad" but it wasn't what I wanted.
Disney is giving it another try with a whole new cast and (hopefully) an all new storyline that will bring us some of our favorite parts of the ride. They dropped a teaser trailer that already looks better than the film from a decade ago.
While you're waiting for this film to come out, I suggest you check out the Muppets Haunted Mansion film on Disney+. It's fantastic.
