Morgan Evans Releases Heartfelt Docuseries About His Return To Australia

The first me I saw Morgan Evans live was at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC. He was opening for his then girlfriend Kelsea Ballerini. This show happened shortly after they started dating. I texted someone I know in Nashville and said you better keep an eye on this guy. Turns out he already had a record deal.

The next time I saw Morgan was at a festival in Chicago called the Windy City Smokeout. Morgan went on early in the afternoon and didn't have a very big turnout. To be fair, this was well before he had a single on the radio. We ended up meeting up with him afterwards and spent most of the day hanging out and chatting about life. That's when I fell in love with him. I found Morgan to be a very down to earth guy with a lot of excitement about what was to come.

Fast forward a few years and we're getting an inside look at what it's like for him to hit the road. But not just any road. Before heading back to his native Australia, Morgan and his team thought it would be fun to film the tour to put it out as a docuseries. They planned it all out for about a year before the tour down under. No one predicted that the tour would be overshadowed by his divorce from Kelsea Ballerini.

The divorce took place just a few weeks before the tour. I'm glad they captured it all. Morgan is going through a wild ride and we got to sit in the passenger seat. Check out the series, 'Over For You'.
