I'll never forget the morning when I was younger when I woke up very early and found that there was an HBO free preview weekend going on. I sat there glued to the TV as I watched Revenge of the Nerds and House Party back to back. It's arguably the greatest morning of my entire life. HBO has held a special place in my heart for decades and it continues to grow as the network continues to push boundaries and give us game changing programming.
Journalist and author John Koblin chats with me for episode 106 of the Adult Education Podcast. He, and Felix Gillette, just published a new book about the history of HBO called 'It's Not TV: The Spectacular Rise, Revolution and Future of HBO.' I hope you enjoy!
