Governor Larry Hogan has for years been courted by the Republican Party to be a voice of reason in the party. He's a republican governor in a state where democrats outnumber republicans by 2 to 1, and he has a very high approval rating. Hogan has often been looked at as a reasonable person that would be a strong candidate for the White House. However, as the GOP has continuously moved further to appeal to the radical fringe right, Hogan's chances of winning a nationwide election become smaller and smaller. Reasonable lawmakers no longer stand a chance of winning. But there are a lot of republicans that would love to see him give it a shot.
Hogan was on MSNBC's "Meet The Press Daily". He addressed the current situation with abortion and the Supreme Court as well as the GOP moves to the radical right.
