Sometimes interviewing a seasoned author is tough because they've heard and answered all of the questions you can possibly think to ask. But Lisa Gardner was a real treat to speak with. We discussed her new novel 'Before She Disappeared' as well as her home in New Hampshire and what it was like to do research for a new character.
I really enjoyed this book. It follows Frankie, a middle aged woman who will stop at nothing to find missing women. When the rest of the world forgets about them, she steps in to do the search. But Frankie isn't a cop. She's a regular citizen who is dedicating her life to finding answers. She runs into some trouble when her work brings her to a dangerous part of Boston.
