Stop #12 takes us to the Eastern Shore. Berlin, Maryland to be exact. This is another brewery that I have never been to in person, but I love their beers.
I mean, just look at that list of styles and flavors to check out. I've tried Burley Oak beers at festivals and then picked some up in stores. I was planning on making a trip last summer out to see the brewery in person. Life got in the way, though. Well, life and a global pandemic. I'm hoping this coming summer will give me an opportunity to stop by.
I've only tried a few beers, but Burley Oak is the home of my favorite sour. I fell in love with this brew the second it hit my lips for the first time. I'm talking about the Sorry Chicky sour ale. There is nothing better than a cold can of Sorry Chicky on a hot summer day.
