St. Pierre's FeBREWary Stop #2: Monument City Brewing

We're only on our second day of FeBREWary and I'm already loving this journey around my favorite Maryland breweries. For stop #2 we are heading over to East Baltimore for one of my favorite places to visit on a nice spring or summer day.

I'm talking about Monument City Brewing. This spot is tucked away in kind of an industrial area of Baltimore. It's not exactly a place you randomly come across, but you'll be glad if you visit. I went by with the kid the other day. Don't worry, I didn't take her inside. I just wanted to take her by her first brewery.

The reason I say I love Monument on a nice day is they have a ton of great outdoor space to hang in. You can grab a beer from the amazing bar inside and then make your way outside to enjoy some sunshine and conversation with friends.

While I do love the outside area of Monument, the inside is pretty great too. I stopped by a few days ago for the first time since before the pandemic. They've made some upgrades to the bar that I love. So many taps, so little time.

If you like to wear your support for your favorite brewery, their merch line is extensive. I see their stuff all around Baltimore now.

You can find some select Monument brews at local beer stores, but you have to hit up the brewery to get the full experience. My favorite of theirs is the lemon & lime gose. But I also picked up the Melody Caravan. It's a hazy IPA.
