If you bought ground beef at the ShopRite in Timonium on Sunday, you may want to bring it back. The store, located on W. Aylesbury Road, has initiated a voluntary recall of all store-made ground beef that was produced and sold on the afternoon of October 6th.
According to the store, there is a possibility that the meat may contain small metal fragments due to a mechanical problem with the grinder.
The recalled products include all store made packages of 80, 85 and 93 percent lean beef with a sell-by date of Sunday, October 6th. No other products sold at ShopRite are affected by the recall, and no injuries related to the recall have been reported.
