St. Louis Blues Superfan Gets Her Moment With The Stanley Cup

Let me be clear. I'm a Boston Bruins fan. Have been for as long as I can remember. I was screaming at my TV last night while that disastrous game 7 was going down. But, then I see moments like this and I can't even be mad about the loss.

The St. Louis Blues have a young superfan named Laila Anderson. She was diagnosed with a life-threatening immune disease disorder. Her journey has been something that the Blues have watched closely. Players have visited her and really embraced her into their family.

Then they stepped up and did something incredible. They flew her to Boston for game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Just being there to watch her favorite team win the championship must have been an incredible feeling. Then the guys invited her down to the ice to celebrate with them.

I'm crying just typing this out. But it's a good cry. My hat is off to the St. Louis Blues players and organization. This is a classy move. I hope you enjoy the Stanley Cup win...because the Bruins are coming for it next year.
