I've always considered myself to be a beer guy. I've never loved hard alcohol. But, a few years ago I started to notice that my body and beer were no longer friends. Sure, I could enjoy a good beer from time to time, but I started to feel awful after. That's when I began to look for a new beverage.
After spending a little time with Devin Dawson, I began learning about tequila. he gave me some great tips and I've really enjoyed it. But good tequila can be hard to find, and expensive.
Recently I discovered an Icelandic vodka called Reyka. I'll admit that I don't know much about vodka, but I've really enjoyed this brand. One of their ambassadors, Trevor 'Cocktail Ninja' Schneider, stopped by the studio to share some details about the beverage, and about an upcoming global party to celebrate the summer solstice that is making a stop here in Baltimore.
