Anyone that has ever had to travel the Bay Bridge knows what kind of nightmare it can be. With really only a couple options to travel to the Eastern Shore (and vice versa), the Bay Bridge is always packed with cars. Don't even get me started on summer time. It's insane.
The Bay Bridge is expected to be structurally sound for another 50 years, but the traffic load is growing by the day. That means the traffic delays also are growing. Governor Hogan ordered a study to find another place to build a Chesapeake Bay crossing. The study has come up with 14 options. What do you think? Local lawmakers are asking constituents to address the locations so they know what people are thinking.
