The 'Law & Order' franchise has had many different versions. We've seen regular, SVU, Criminal Intent and more. Looks like NBC is ready to add another new group of lawyers and officers to the mix.
NBC has ordered a 13-episode first season of the new spin-off, 'Law and Order: Hate Crimes.' The show will be set in New York City, which is home to the second-oldest hate crimes and bias-based task force in the country.
A premiere date for the show has yet to be announced, but the new series will reportedly be introduced during the upcoming season of Law and Order: SVU.
