The Ravens spent most of the offseason working to bolster their defense. On paper it looks like the Baltimore defense will be stacked. But their offense looks like a shell of what it used to be.
Their top receiver is Mike Wallace, a very talented player who's best years are behind him. Quarterback Joe Flacco has been a let down since that Super Bowl title a few years ago. And I'm not sure they still have any running backs on the team. Oh...and no more Dennis Pitta.
The team does seem to be working to change some of that. The Ravens agreed to a 2 year deal with wide receiver Jeremy Maclin.
Maclin is a speedy player, but saw a considerable drop in his performance last season. In 2014 and 2015, Maclin caught 80+ balls and racked up 18 TD's.
In 2016 he pulled in 44 catches with 2 TD's.
Hopefully he's looking for a new chance to shine when he gets into town and reminds everyone what he has to offer.
