Former Ravens first-round pick Matt Elam has found himself in legal trouble for the second time this year.
Elam had a very bright future ahead of him but struggled on the field. Now, those struggles are following him off of it.
He was arrested and booked in Delray Beach, Florida on charges of grand theft and battery. Elam was also arrested on charges of marijuana possession with the intent to sell or deliver and possession of hydrocodone in February.
The Ravens opted not to exercise their option on his contract for the 2017 season. Currently, he is a free agent and it's likely he will stay that way.
