Tony Romo has been making many headlines since the NFL season wrapped up in February. He missed nearly all of the 2016 season with an injury and watched rookie Dak Prescott take the Cowboys to a 13-3 record. Everyone knew Romo's time in Dallas was over, but where would he end up?
Some said Denver.
Some thought Houston.
But it looks like he has another job in mind. Broadcasting.
The Cowboys officially released Romo today and the expectation is that he will retire from the NFL to pursue a career in broadcasting. CBS announced he will join Jim Nantz and Tracy Wolfson as the network's lead NFL game analyst for the 2017 season.
