We've all done it...laid down toilet paper on a toilet seat to protect our rear ends from germs. Well, turns out that isn't all that much of a help.
Public health experts say seat covers do not stop germs. In fact, they are likely to absorb the bacteria and viruses and let them pass through on to your skin.
There is some good news, though. The health experts said catching germs from your skin touching a toilet seat is unlikely in the first place.
