A South Florida McDonald's worker is being hailed a hero after he jumped out of the drive-thru window to save the life of a customer that turned out to be an off-duty police officer.
Pedro Viloria noticed something was wrong with a customer when he went to hand her the food.
"I see she hardly breathing and I thought that's not normal."
And then he said the vehicle started moving and it was clear the driver no longer had control.
"Her kids were screaming. I thought I gotta get to that car."
So the 22-year-old jumped through the window and put himself in front of the car. Luckily, the curb stopped the vehicle from going into traffic. Surveillance video also shows a woman running to help and an officer who had, luckily, come in for breakfast around the same time.
