I love to see a community coming together to help each other out. Maggie Ballard and her 6-year-old son, Paxton are inspiring their neighbors to do just that.
Back in October, the pair created this 'blessing box' in their front yard. It looks kind of like an outdoor cabinet with a sign that reads,
"Take a blessing when you need one. Leave blessing when you can."
Inside the box you'll find everyday essentials like food and hygiene products. Maggie says people have been coming at all hours to grab a blessing.
"I love that it provides anonymity for people taking and people leaving. It's always available, no guilt, no pressure, no paperwork."
