Wade Berger is a high school graduate of a small town in eastern Pennsylvania who immediately after graduation joined the Air Force and turned 18 years old in Basic Training. After military training in San Angelo Texas, to become an Intelligence Analyst, he was then stationed overseas to San Vito Air Station, Italy. While there he served during the beginning of the first Gulf War with assignments to Saudi Arabia near the end of hostilities. After that he served tours in South Korea and Central Maryland, where he separated after 9 years of honorable service. With two young children, Alexander and Hope he worked for several Information Technology companies in the Maryland area as a Software Engineer, Network Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer and finally a Systems Engineer. He married again to Luisa Mari Berger and had another child Gabriel. In 2006 he started Ascendant Innovations Corp as CEO and continues to build the company. With over 18 years’ experience, 30+ employees and contracts throughout the Department of Defense he has been fortunate to work with extraordinary people throughout his career to include his two oldest children and wife who intends to continue leading Ascendant Innovations into the near future. The Company has received multiple awards from its Prime Contracting Companies and has won Baltimore Business Journal’s Best Places to work 3 times so far. Wade continues to mentor other business owners and looks forward to handing off the reins of Ascendant Innovations to the next generation of leaders in the years to come.
