You can clearly see Chris is neither violent or falling down drunk. Looks to me like he was trying to stop the officer to have a conversation.
Nick Beres from NC5 got the video released and posted "***BREAKING: EXCLUSIVE VIDEO OF THE INCIDENT INSIDE THE DAWG HOUSE RAISES QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ARREST OF COUNTRY ARTIST CHRIS YOUNG IN NASHVILLE.
I obtained security video from inside the bar of what happened Monday night.
You’ll recall Young was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault of an officer for allegedly attacking agents with the Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Young is accused of confronting them after they checked his ID.
The affidavit claims as the agents began walking to the door Young put his hands out to stop the agents from leaving the bar and reportedly "stuck" or struck an agent’s shoulder.
The agents say they pushed Young to create distance and then arrested him for among other things assaulting an officer.
NOW LOOK AT THE SECURITY VIDEO.
That is Young in the leather jacket, black hat and jeans.
He is waiting to ask the men why they took a photo of his ID and reaches out to ask the agent to stop to talk.
The agent then shoves Young knocking him to the floor.
According to Young’s lawyer all his client wanted to do was to confirm the identity of the men — who were not in obvious uniforms … and ask about the photo of his ID.
The video does not appear to show Young strike the agent in the shoulder … rather he reaches out.
The 37-year-old Young is an American country music singer, songwriter.
He was the Season 4 winner of the television program Nashville Star.
Young has an album expect to be released this spring.
His lawyer tells me what happened to his client in the Dawg House was wrong … that he never should have been arrested … and that ABC should drop the charges and apologize.
***I also have included in the comments two other video clips from different angles and a copy of the affidavit with what ABC agents say happened.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?"
