Late last night, the news broke from Nashville on Jackson Dean, a guy I've been a fan of since he was literally still in High School.
NASHVILLE, TN (August 18, 2020) – Big Machine Records proudly welcomes today singer/songwriter JACKSON DEAN. The Odenton, Maryland native officially joins the imprint’s impressive talent roster, which boasts Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Carly Pearce, Midland, The Cadillac Three, Payton Smith, Noah Schnacky and Dan Smalley.
“From the moment Jackson started playing for Allison Jones and I in our conference room, we were transported into his musical world,” says BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta. “It may sound cliche to say that Jackson is very special...it isn’t…this is an important new artist and this is serious business.”
“You best believe the freight train is comin’,” says Jackson. “I can’t wait to share my music with the world with the support of such a hardworking and innovative team.”
Following an early career of local performances in his hometown, Jackson has joined bills with notable artists such as Kane Brown, Jake Owen and Brothers Osborne. Jackson is represented by TKO Artist Management and is in the process of relocating to Nashville. Before he hit the field with his team, Jackson Dean, a high school student performed the National Anthem like no one I've ever heard before.
