Single Women,Would you rather have a potential fiance offer a ring or CASH?

While getting engaged is an relationship goal for a large percentage of dating couples, almost 50% of American women would rather SKIP the diamond ring anmd take the cash value INSTEAD!! Surprising to you?

According to financial chatbot Charlie Financial, after surveying over 500 single women (ages 18 to 40) across the continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii. 49% said they’d rather have the cash value of a ring to spend on whatever they want. That’s especially true among older millennial women (ages 30 to 35). Within this age group, 56 percent said they’d rather take the money.

"When asked if they would rather date someone with a tattoo of their ex or someone with a bad credit score (defined as a score below 500), 54 percent of women chose the tattoo"!!

Here are a couple other nuggets Charlie Finanacial dug up!

"#SizeMatters

  • Six in ten (58 percent) would be hesitant to marry their partner if they have a large amount of debt
  • Middle-aged women (ages 31-40) are less likely to marry someone bringing debt into a marriage (67 percent vs. 56 percent of those ages 18-30)"
