Football fans watched the GREAT Ladainian Tomlinson cut and zig zag on the football field becoming a Hall of Famer and retiring as a San Diego Charger but now you'll get to see this NFL legend in a brand new light. Movie Star in 'Bless The Broken Road'.
Ladainian plays a preacher in a small Texas town, leading a congregation through a heartbreaking story of a young mother who loses her husband in Afghanistan and struggles to raise their young daughter without him.
Two years after her husband is killed in Afghanistan , she finds herself in a struggle to save her home while providing for her 9-year-old daughter, Bree. When up-and-coming race car driver Cody Jackson rolls into town, Amber and Bree become wrapped up in his pedal to the metal way of life. With her faith hanging in the balance, Amber is forced to decide between the broken road she knows so well or trusting in a new path that God has provided.
Rotten Tomatoes hasn't rated "Bless the Broken Road" yet but users are giving it an 83%. I've seen it and I give it two thumbs up. Ladianian will have more rolls too. After seeing this AND his NFL special "A Football Life" Hollywood needs to turn his story into a motion picture too. What a story. Take a look below at the trailer AND Ladianian's backstory on 'A Football Life'.
I'll add my interview with Ladainian later today! MJ
