Maryland Governor Larry Hogan told news media this was a 1000 year flood and the second the Baltimore, Md. suburb has experienced in the past two years. There were fatalities in the July, 2016 flooding and now a man has come up missing after yesterday the rushing water rose again. He was last seen around 5:30pm in the parking lot just off main street and is unaccounted for. Officials are searching for him and going door to door to check the structural integrity of the buildings that are still standing.
A Court house built in the 1800's collapsed among other buildings that are structurally unsafe to enter according to Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman.
