Lowes Launches "SpringFest" With Free "Garden To Go" Projects

Lowes is trying to help you spruce up your home for the nice weather while having fun as a family!

The home improvement giant has officially launched "SpringFest" with free, family friendly "Garden To Go" projects. Every week in April, for "SpringFest," Lowes will give away different themed kits to families who register in advance. Registration starts April 1, a week before the first of four weekly giveaways. In addition to free gardening kits, Lowe's says it's offering deals, product demonstrations and a campaign called "Hometrip," which offers advice on how to turn homes into "destinations."

Here are the details of the family friendly activity kits:

  • April 8: Lowe’s says this kit “is sponsored by Miracle-Gro” and includes recipes from cook and food stylist Amanda Frederickson.
  • April 15: Lowe’s Mystery Garden Pinata with mystery seed packets.
  • April 22: For Earth Day, Lowe's will give out 500,000 tree saplings
  • April 29: "Lowe’s Butterfly Quest" helps families create a butterfly garden.
