"Charm City Kings" To Launch on HBO Max

"Charm City Kings" a film about the harsh realities Baltimore youths face is comign to HBO Max.

The film from Baltimore native Jada Pinkett Smith follows a teen growing up on the streets of west Baltimore and the tough decisions he's faced with, a life of crime or sticking on the straight and narrow. Actor Jahi Di’Allo Winston plays “Mouse” and said he wanted to really represent what some kids face, “I just wanted to show the humanity in marginalized communities specifically in Baltimore.”

The film, which was shot entirely in Baltimore, starts streaming on HBO Max October 8th.
