It's been a tough run for the Duke & Duchess of Sussex and things didn't lighten up over the holidays.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle got royally flushed by the owners of a swank Canadian eatery -- who said they couldn't accommodate the couple for a holiday dinner reservation.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent their son Archie’s first Christmas on Vancouver Island with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, but got shot down when they tried to score a coveted spot at a place called Deep Cove Chalet. Chef Pierre Koffel nixed the idea due to the tight security that would've been involved.
But Bev Koffel, who owns the place with her husband, says it was nothing personal. She tells the Vancouver Sun, “It’s kind of exciting. I hope everything goes fine for them. They’re breaking away from tradition and I just wish them all the best.”
The Duke & Duchess seem to be doing just fine however, not letting the reservation snafu ruin their trip. Locals report seeing Harry & Meghan jogging together and Harry out for a solo hike one day.
