Minnesota Donut Guy Is Back In Business

  • Jayson Gonzalez had been helping to pay his college tuition in Saint Paul, Minnesota by making an 8 hour round trip every weekend to the nearest Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Iowa
  • He had plenty of customers willing to pay, there was even a Facebook group created to take orders, but once the company got word, they ordered Gonzalez to cease and desist
  • After his plight garnered national media attention, Krispy Kreme reversed course & letting Gonzalez get back in business as an independent contractor. They're even giving him 500 dozen doughnuts to get started. He's just got to get the proper food handling license and he'll be good to go.
