Nick Offerman, aka Ron Swanson, Finally Gets His Own Whisky From Lagavulin

It's finally happening.

If we could only see Ron Swanson's face now, I would imagine it looks something like it did when he visited Scotland's Lagavulin Distillery in season 6 of Parks and Recreation. If you're confused, let me catch you up. Actor Nick Offerman played Ron Swanson on NBC's Parks and Recreation, and the only things he enjoyed were steak, woodworking and you guessed it....Lagavulin. Ron and his obsession with Lagavulin was a central part to his story on the show so Nick Offerman collaborating with Lagavulin is the ultimate homage to the great Ron Swanson.

According to Maxim, "tasting notes on the ‘Offerman Edition’ Lagavulin Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky indicate it has the expected "Lagavulin peatiness" as well as "spices and dried fruit." Offerman also had a hand in designing the labels. Beginning this month it'll be available in select US outlets for $74.99 or you can pre order it now online for $89.99.
