Popeyes Sued Over Lack Of Chicken Sandwiches 

  • Craig Barr of East Ridge, Tennessee has filed a lawsuit in what he says is an attempt to hold the fast food chain accountable, because "Who runs out of chicken?" 
  • He tells WTVC he wasted countless hours trying to track down one of the sandwiches that ended up selling out earlier this week. He even went so far as to respond to a Craigslist ad from someone claiming to know a Popeyes employee who could get him what he wanted for 24 bucks
  • When that fell through, Barr took his complaints to court, filing suit against Popeyes for false advertising and deceptive business practices.   

 

Freeform’s 31 Nights Of Halloween Lineup

  • The network has revealed the lineup for its “31 Nights of Halloween” programming this October
  • Fans can get spooky watching all the classics including “Hocus Pocus,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Ghostbusters,” and more. Check out the full schedule HERE.

Alex Trebek Health Update

  • Back in March, Jeopardy host Alex Trebek was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, but the good news is he has finished chemo & he’s back at work!

  • Starting September 12, say goodbye to chips and salsa and to the Beefy Mini Quesadilla, Chipotle Chicken Loaded Griller, Double Decker Taco, Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco, Fiery Doritos Locos Taco, Double Tostada, Power Menu Burrito and XXL Grilled Stuft Burrito
  • Taco Bell is slimming down its combo board from 20-something variations to just 13 to make the ordering process easier
  • Other new combos include a Burrito Supreme (No. 3), Crunchwrap Supreme (No. 8), Mexican Pizza (No. 9) and a Breakfast Crunchwrap (No. 11)

Lego Is Creating Braille And Audio Building Guides For Visually Impaired Kids

  • Kids love Legos, but kids who are visually impaired can’t see the instructions to build the sets.
  • So Lego is working to make their building bricks more inclusive and they’re now making the instructions available in Braille and audio recordings.
  • There are four sets available now with these building guides including a Lego Movie 2 themed set
