Score A Free Burrito When This Word Is Said During NBA Finals

Free burritos for all!

Just a few weeks ago Taco Bell announced the return of its famous NBA finals "Steal A Game, Steal A Taco" promotion. If the away team wins, effectively "stealing a win" away from the home team, everyone gets a free Doritos Locos taco on June 18th, but Chipotle isn't taking this laying down.

The fast food casual chain has introduced their own NBA finals promotion, free burritos! According to a Chipotle press release, "Every time an on-air announcer says the word 'free' during the official coverage of the men's professional basketball championship series, Chipotle will be 'freeting': live tweeting a unique code good for the chance to win a free burrito from @chipotletweets." Chipotle plans to give away 500 free burritos whenever the word "free" is mentioned by an on air announcer in the first half of a game, and a 1,000 free burritos in the second half, effectively aiming to give away $1 million dollars in free food. So that means anything from "free throw" to "free agent" is fair game. Customers can cash in on the free burritos by being one of the first 500 or 1,000 people to text the correct code (released on Chipotle's Twitter account) to the number 888222.

And it gets better! Can you say free delivery? Chipotle is offering free delivery on orders of $10 or more from May 30 until June 9 and it will continue as long as the series goes!
