Target’s Car Seat Trade In Event Is Back

  • From April 22 through May 4, Target stores will accept and recycle car seats, including infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats
  • In exchange for the old car seat, get a coupon for 20% off "a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby home gear, such as playards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers."
  • The coupon is good through May 11th

Maryland State Fair Announce Performers

  • The Maryland State Fair will run August 22nd through September 2nd this year at the Maryland State Fairgrounds and will host a slew of performers
  • 90s boy band Hanson, southern rock legends The Marshall Tucker Band, ACM nominated country duo LOCASH & 80’s rock band Night Ranger will all take the stage


Local Men Get Investment From Shark Tank

  • 2 Anne Arundel County natives made it onto Shark Tank and walked away with a deal
  • They created Kanga, a cooler that uses zero ice and can keep your brew ice cold for seven hours—it’s basically a giant koozie made out of foam that has the ability to keep 30 beers cold
  • Dallas Mavericks Owner and Celebrity Shark Mark Cuban was so interested in the product, that he cut a deal with the guys for $100,000.00 in exchange for 20% equity

1.“Shazam!” – $53.5 million

2.“Pet Sematary” – $25 million

3.“Dumbo” – $18.2 million

  • It was a big debut weekend for DC’s superhero flick Shazam this weekend raking in $53.5 million
  • The remake of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary remake nabbed the #2 spot, but only by about half at $25 million
  • Dumbo was knocked down to 3rd place but officially crossed the $200 million mark worldwide

Adam Sandler Returns To SNL

  • Adam Sandler hasn’t been on the SNL stage in 24 years and he’s finally returning…to host
  • He will host SNL for the very first time since his time as a cast member (1990-1995) on May 4th with musical guest Shawn Mendes
